Smokin' Aces - 2020 - week 5

Week 5! This week's track actually features in Episode 002 of my False Promises series of DJ mixes/podcasts. The track is titled 'Vibrancy' by Slovenian, multiple award-winning producer and DJ, UMEK. The track comes from the EP of the same name; I had to feature this production as it's literally been pounding away on my studio speakers whilst I was preparing my latest False Promises podcast. It's dark and powerful; I absolutely love the main melody. I love how the tension builds during the breakdown until the kick drum comes back in at the drop. From there, the track just relentlessly drives onwards until it reaches the outro. It sounds great when played on a decent set of speakers, preferably loudly; I'd love to hear this on a club sound system!

There isn't much to say about this production. It's relatively simple, but, simple is always best in my opinion! Just hit play and turn your speakers up for this techno gem!
